A Needle in the Haystack
The prequel to LT. COMMANDER MOLLIE SANDERS: Mollie is a backseater (weapons officer) on a NAVY FIGHTER PLANE who uses the new weapons system she designed to evade a rogue missile. Then she gets a temporary assignment to the COAST GUARD to try to prevent a potential terrorist attack against the port of Los Angeles.
